
Dr. Asha Srinivasan completed her MSc and PhD from University of Bradford, UK. She briefly worked at Max Plank, Germany, followed by her postdoctoral research at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia. USA. At Jefferson, she worked extensively on drug delivery of cancer nanomedicine and Nano formulations.
She joined JSS Academy of Higher Education a& Research and she heads MSc Nanoscience and Technology at Faculty of Life Sciences, JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Mysore. India.
Her area of research involves development of aerosol formulations for pulmonary delivery, development of protein mainly protein (monoclonal) Nano formulations, polymeric nanoparticles, screening phytochemicals and harnessing biomaterials in nanomedicine, endocytosis of nanomedicine.
Most of her work has been published in peer reviewed journals. She has chaired several scientific sessions in national and International conferences. She also serves as reviewer and serves as associate editor of International health and allied Sciences. She holds a US patent on aerosol formulations for pulmonary delivery and a recipient of Biotechnology Innovation Award, hosted by Genentech, San Diego, United States of America and the IMRF Young Scientist Award, India.
